Policies, Prices, and Fees (the fun stuff!)
Happy Campers Chico has a "leave no trace" policy. This means that the rental needs to be returned in the same condition is was received. We charge $100 an hour for cleaning and repairs. Thank you for helping us to keep our fleet in excellent condition for the next client!
General Policies and terms of service

NO SMOKING, NO EXCEPTIONS

Motorhomes are allowed on paved or compact gravel roads only.

Motorhomes include 100 miles per day, 50 cents per mile after. 3 generator hours per day, $3 per hour after. Road side assistance required.

2 night minimum unless noted otherwise. Rent is charged per night.

No food or drink on beds.

Only RV toilet paper to be used in bathrooms.

Renters must be 25 or older.

Insurance is required and is added to each reservation. (may be removed later if renter is covered)

PETS UPON APPROVAL ONLY and with additional pet fee.
Security Deposit
There is a refundable security deposit on all of our rentals. $1000 for trailers and $1,500 for motorhomes. Security deposit claims and refunds will be processed within one week of rental returns.
Discounts
Discounts are given upon approval.

Pick up and drop off times are by appointment, between 2-5pm.

Rent is charged for each 24 hour period (2 pm - 2 pm) with a three hour grace period given for returns. Rental vehicles not returned by 5pm, will be charged an extra night. We will be in touch with you the week of your reservation to schedule a specific pick up and drop off time.
Fees

Gas / propane refilling: $25 plus cost of fuel

Waste tank dumping: $50

Delivery: $8 per mile (one way from 329 Southgate ave) includes tank dumping and propane. $100 minimum

Booking
A non-refundable 10% booking deposit is required to hold your dates. The remaining balance and security deposit will be charged two days before pick up.
Cancellation Policy

Canceled reservations forfeit the 10% booking deposit. No refunds will be given if a cancellation is made less than 48 hours to departure.

Happy Campers RV Rentals reserves the right to cancel any reservation at any time.

While we strive to make every rental experience as smooth as possible, there are times when we may have to change or cancel a reservation last minute. In the case of a reservation change or cancellation, we will issue the appropriate refund.
It is the renter's responsibility to ensure the tow vehicle is set up properly for towing. Please make sure the vehicle is equipped with a 7 way plug (pictured) and has adequate towing capacity. We have hitches available to rent if needed. If the hitch you bring is not adequate to tow your rental, a hitch rental will be added to your reservation. If you have questions regarding any of this please get clarification from us prior to your departure. Thank you!
