Our Story

​

We are a family of four from Chico, CA who love to camp!  As our family grows, so does our passion for adventure.  We were avid tent campers for the first ten years of our marriage, but in the summer of 2017 my wife and I rented a small camp trailer and took off for the weekend.  The ease and comfort the camp trailer allowed us was tremendous! Having everything loaded and ready to go without having to unpack, set up, break down, and re-pack was awesome. The following spring we rented a motor home and went to the coast for three nights and it rained the entire time.  We were so grateful we weren't in a tent! While tent camping can get you into places an RV can not, sometimes the ease and luxury of an RV is a perfect choice. So we decided to create Happy Campers RV Rentals and give people the affordable option of feeling "At Home, Away from Home".
